The Church Of Judah Separates

by | Oct 5, 2018 | 3 comments

On 5th October AD 2018, the most influential Inner Mongolian congregation formerly affiliated with The Westminster Tradition distributed an open letter of separation from Elijah Thomas Chacko. The authors of this letter are members of the ‘Church of Judah’. Their names were not included because of security considerations. If there are other slightly strange nomenclatures on this website, it is probably for the same reason. A formerly drawn up system of codenames explains this church’s unusual name. Attached below is the full letter.

The Westminster Tradition Responds to the Church of Judah’s Separation Letter:

On the 10th October AD 2018 (just five days after the Church of Judah’s separation letter), TWT released a special publication against the brethren of the separated Church of Judah in which they rebranded them as the ‘Church of Judas Iscariot’. It should be noted that Chia and Lim were not the authors of this separation letter as is frequently alleged. Further batches of letters from those who remained within TWT were disseminated on 15th October, 22nd October and 7th November. The publications with the authors’ names are listed below. It should be mentioned that though those who write in defence of Elijah Chacko seem to greatly outnumber those who separated, the opposite is true. Those in Elijah Chacko’s ministry are expected to denounce those who have departed. Numerically though, they are fewer… though more verbose and vociferous.

Below is attached the New Jerusalem Times preface dated 19th August AD 2018. This letter from Haziel, with an editorial comment added by Elijah Chacko was cited by the Church of Judah in the first point in their separation letter and therefore needs to be read in its entirety. Haziel Qi was one of the foremost leaders in the Church of Judah. Chia and Lim were formerly missionaries from The Westminster Tradition who spearheaded the work in China but have now separated themselves from association with Elijah Chacko. There was a sharp contention between Haziel Qi and Chia, the details of which will become clearer in the articles published on this website.

concerning the letter of judah : 1 Joel Chia gave many suggestions via skype about this letter and it was mainly written by a sister trusted by him.A few others participated in and made slight revisions .A couple wrote another open letter to express their disagreement about this one . there was’t only one voice within the church of judah. i am not sure whether the ”church of judah ‘ is a appropriate signature. 2 The english version of this letter was not written by anyone from the church of judah,it was translated by english speakers . If it’s not… Read more »

To Haziel Qi, The words you typed are full of wisdoms. In summary, you equate those who stood up against Elijah Thomas Chacko as dog. 1) you accused them of spewing venoms. 2) you judged them as rebels. 3) you judged them as ignorants. 4) you judged them as supertitous. 5) you imagined them as attacker of your imaginative Jerusalem. 6) you equated them as antichrist. 7) you prophesied God will judge them. 8) you accused them as disobedience to doctrines of your pastor. 9) you imagined yourselves as remnants. 10) you named them ugly. 11) you named them double… Read more »
